Dylan’s remarkable 50-year career began when he moved to the folk-music hub of Greenwich Village in 1961 from his native Minnesota. A year after arriving, Dylan wrote the civil-rights anthem “Blowin’ in the Wind.” He moved to rock and roll in 1965, and his classic “Like a Rolling Stone” was later voted the greatest song in rock history by Rolling Stone magazine.
