July 5, 1978, The manufacturing of 'Some Girls' the new album by The Rolling Stones was halted at EMI's pressing plant after complaints from celebrities who were featured in mock advertisements on the album sleeve. The featured females celebrities Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Raquel Welch, and the estates of Judy Garland and Marilyn Monroe took offence to their images being given a slight drag queen make over and threatened legal action.
