Yesterday Sunday April 1, 2012, Patti Smith appeared on CBS' Sunday Morning and did a live webcast after the show. The hourlong program contains an interview and Smith's performances of Grateful and My Blakean Year (above).
Smith announced the June 5, 2012 release of her 11th studio album, Banga. The first single from the record, April Fool, is now available for download, and it features an appearance by her longtime friend Tom Verlaine of the band Television.
