Fiona Apple returns to video-making after more than six years away with "Every Single Night," the first single off her forthcoming album, The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do. Directed by Joseph Cahill.
The imagery in the Apple video is dreamlike and vivid, an octopus worn as a hat, a minotaur in bed, floating on marionette strings over an alligator, a giant snail headed toward the Eiffel Tower and much, much more.
