Arctic Monkeys‘ cover of The Beatles‘ 1969 track ‘Come Together‘ is proving popular on the iTunes singles chart after being included on the London Olympics’ official opening ceremony album.
The Sheffield band covered the Fab Four classic live at the opening ceremony last Friday (July 27th), and also aired their own UK number one single ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor‘. Both tracks now feature on ‘Isle Of Wonder: Music For The Opening Ceremony Of The London 2012 Olympic Games‘, which was released shortly after the ceremony concluded.
