Artists performing and involved in the London 2012 closing ceremony have seen a huge boost to sales, with Kate Bush, Emeli Sande, Oasis and the Spice Girls enjoying a resurgence in sales.

All last week, heavy rumors were flying that Kate Bush, a woman who never performs live anymore, would put in an appearance as part of last night’s (August 12, 2012) Olympic closing ceremonies, a truly epic display of entertaining absurdity. It was not to be. MORE HERE
Though Bush herself didn’t show, she did record a new version of her 1985 single “Running Up That Hill” for the event. That part of the show was cut from NBC’s American broadcast, but you can watch it HERE.
