Bob Dylan's Capitol Theatre Performance
The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., built in 1926 for movies and fondly remembered by many who saw bands perform there from 1970 through 1976, officially reopened as a rock hall on Tuesday night September 4, 2012 with a Bob Dylan concert.
Bob Dylan left more than 1,800 fans in a packed Capitol Theatre raving and wanting more on a night when the concert hall reopened in Port Chester.
Don't believe me? Ask fellow folk legend Peter Yarrow — of Peter, Paul and Mary fame — who watched from the balcony and summed up the show in one word: "Spectacular." MORE HERE & HERE
