“George Harrison: Living in the Material World,” the Martin Scorsese documentary originally nominated for six Creative Arts Emmys, came away with two of them in the awards announced Friday night September 21, 2012
.
The documentary itself won “Outstanding Nonfiction Special.” Director Scorsese also won the statue for “Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming.” Olivia Harrison attended the event.
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards are a forerunner to the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards, to be awarded tonight (September 23, 2012) in Los Angeles.
