The Rolling Stones have been rumoured to be playing two shows in New York and two shows in London before the end of this year (2012) to mark their 50th anniversary. The story even spread to them doing one show at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
The Stones have made a statement to say that those stories are not true.
In a tweet, the Stones announced, “Dear fans, no Rolling Stones gigs have been confirmed or announced. Do not buy tickets from the SongKick website, or anywhere else”.
