As the son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, Jason Bonham seemed destined to follow in his dad’s drum riffs.
From the age of 4 or 5, he’d play for his father’s bandmates Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones, or friends like Bad Company’s Paul Rodgers when they’d drop by the house.
Starting with his first band, Air Race, Bonham has had a couple of successful bands and found success in his own right as an in-demand session drummer. As a performer he tours with Black Country Communion, and Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience — his homage to the music that made his dad rocks premiere drummer.
