Jeff Lynne Brings Mr. Blue Sky Back

Frontiers Records celebrates the 40th anniversary of ELO with the October 9, 2012 release for a new look at some ELO classics and a new solo album from the group's mastermind Jeff Lynne.

Lynne's new solo album, Long Wave, is billed as a tribute to some of the songs that originally inspired him.

The second release, Mr. Blue Sky–The Very Best Of Electric Light Orchestra features Lynne revisiting and re-recording--at his home studio in Los Angeles--the greatest hits of Electric Light Orchestra. MORE HERE

The new documentary "Mr. Blue Sky: The Story of Jeff Lynne and ELO," premiered on MTV's high def channel Palladia on October 7, 2012 and airs throughout the month, as well as on VH1 Classic which started airing it October 10, 2012. The film was broadcast on the British TV channel BBC Four on October 5, 2012. See it HERE
