The American Music Awards is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Nominees were announced in Los Angeles in October and the show will appear on television Sunday November 18, 2012.
Frankly, we're not necessarily excited about most of the nominees or slated performances ...BUT The Black Keys have been nominated for Favorite Alternative Rock Artist and the wonderful new band FUN. have been nominated for Best New Artist.
