The 2013 Brit Award nominations have been announced. Nominees include some of our favorites, including the Rolling Stones, Jack White, Bruce Springsteen, Cat Power, Lana Del Rey, Paloma Faith, and Fun. - just to name a few.
The leading nominees overall, each with recognition in three categories, are Emeli Sandé, Mumford and Sons and Mercury prize winners Alt-J.
Muse, Plan B, Rita Ora, Jessie Ware, Ben Howard, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs and Coldplay all received two nominations each.
The surprise inclusion in the category for best British female is Amy Winehouse, thanks to the release of the posthumously assembled album Lioness.
