Marshall Lieb January 26, 1939 - March 15, 2002

With friends from high school, Marshall Lieb and singer Annette Kleinbard, Phil Spector formed a group, The Teddy Bears.

The Teddy Bears best known hit  "To Know Him Is to Love Him" went to #1 on Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 1958, selling over a million copies by year's end. It was the seventh number one single on the newly formed chart.
