"It's due in April (2013) and I'm still working on it," she told the paper. Her record company (Interscope) delayed the album's release because they found the sound "too positive."
She had been told to "darken it up a bit" and went on to proclaim exactly what the label said to her, stating: "I thought I'd finished it...but they said: 'We just built you up as the public enemy No. 1 and now you're coming out with all this positive stuff."
