When well-known L.A. area publicist Nancy Sayle got the diagnosis that she has Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, it didn’t make it easier for her to know that MS affects 2.1 million people worldwide. Every single hour in the U.S. alone, someone new is diagnosed with MS. The disease, which is a progressive, disabling disease that affects the central nervous system, is unpredictable and can cause symptoms ranging from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis.
So Nancy, who passionately throws herself into everything she cares
about won’t take on the progression of her disease without a fight.
Asking some of her long-time friends and associates to join her in her
battle, the Rock Against MS Benefit Concert was born and had its first
of hopefully many more shows at the world famous Whiskey A Go-Go in Hollywood on
Wednesday night March 27, 2013.
The night was one amazing supergroup after another, including Jeff
Pilson (Foreigner), Billy Duffy (The Cult), Billy Morrison and Erik
Eldenius (Billy Idol), Orianthi, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, Rick Springfield, the
legendary Marky Ramone, and secret surprise
guest of the night - Billy Idol!!
