As time passes, fewer and fewer people remember the songs that built popular music in the 1800's and early-1900's. Paul Marsteller and Gabriel Rhodes are looking to remind listeners of just a few of those songs on their new album The Beautiful Old and, to help ensure that people will take notice, they've enlisted the help of some fine veteran musicians including Garth Hudson (The Band), Richard Thompson, Dave Davies (The Kinks), Graham Parker, Eric Bibb, Richard Bowden, Richard Greene and Jimmy LaFave.
