The Meridian team arrived at their Cambridgeshire headquarters to the sight of two shiny tour buses Wednesday June 12, 2013. Following Neil Young’s performance at the Birmingham LG Arena, part of his Neil Young and Crazy Horses Alchemy tour, Neil dropped into Meridian for a meeting with Meridian founder Bob Stuart and throughout the day experienced various demonstrations and tours.
Neil Young launched Pono last year, promising to 'rescue an art form' with hi-res music and a portable music player to go with it. Pono failed to set the music world alight – and was tipped for "ridicule and failure" by Linn Products – but it looks like Young, and now Meridian, are still very much in the game. MORE HERE & HERE
