R.I.P.: Don Bowman
An entertainer who made his mark as a comedian and songwriter in Nashville and spent his last years in the Ozarks has died.
Don Bowman died Wednesday June 5, 2013 at age 75.
Bowman went from radio to comedy and songwriting, then came back to radio in the late 90s. He was known for his comedy albums in the 60s and 70s and was the CMA’s first Comedian of the Year. As a songwriter, he co-wrote Just to Satisfy You for Waylon Jennings, and Wildwood Weed, which became a hit for Jim Stafford. MORE HERE
