The original release of Brothers and Sisters was the first without Duane Allman and many people thought that they had no chance of moving forward from that desperate loss but Brothers and Sisters proved to be the band’s biggest seller yet with the leadership of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts proving that the rest of the band were a whole lot more than Duane Allman’s backing band.
The box set is well worth the having, just to get your hands on the 2-CDs of the Winterland show from San Francisco in 1973 that are included here. source
