Fred Parris, lead singer for the Five Satins and writer of their classic In the Still of the Night, fell ill during a concert in New Haven, Connecticut on Saturday (July 20, 2013) and was taken to a local hospital.
The Five Satins were in the third song of the show when Parris appeared to stumble and was helped to a chair. The rest of the group continued with the show while Parris was taken away by ambulance. MORE HERE
