Joan Jett is the official honoree at the Sunset Strip Music Festival this year. The fest takes place August 1-3, 2013 and Linkin Park headlines.
Jett is the first woman to be recognized, and will be honored at a ceremony to kick things off on August 1, 2013 at the House of Blues. Then, she'll perform with the Blackhearts!
West Hollywood has also declared August 1 Joan Jett Day.
