Starting today (Friday August 9, 2013) and through the weekend San Francisco's Outside Lands festival is streaming a webcast, and the roster blows many of this season's music festivals out of the water.
Those who grew up in the '80s will dig watching performances from Hall & Oates, Fishbone, Camper Van Beethoven, Red Hot Chili Peppers and, yes, Nine Inch Nails. I can go for that. (Sadly, it looks like headliner Paul McCartney won't be streamed.)
The younger/indie kids aren't too shabby either and include Band of Horses, Vampire Weekend and Phoenix.
The live-streaming kicks off today at 5 p.m. EDT and continues through Sunday (August 11, 2013).
