'Sammy Hagar & Friends’ might be the most guest star-studded rock records of the fall, and Hagar has just released the video for ‘Knockdown Dragout’ (above) which features Joe Satriani, Denny Carmassi, and Kid Rock.
The song finds Hagar exhorting listeners to “show ‘em what we mean by rock & roll.” To that end, ‘Knockdown Dragout’ features a vocal cameo from Kid Rock, with Hagar’s current Chickenfoot compadre Satriani chipping in some lead guitar while former Montrose drummer Carmassi drives the beat.
