R.I.P.: Phil Chevron

Phil Chevron, the guitarist for boisterous Anglo-Irish band The Pogues, has died at 56.

The Pogues manager says Chevron died Tuesday October 8, 2013 in Dublin after being treated for head and neck cancer.

The Dublin-born musician was also a member of seminal Irish punk rockers The Radiators From Space (above) before joining the London-based Pogues in the early 1980s. MORE HERE
