The Amazing Journey of Tommy

The Who's historic rock opera Tommy will be repackaged and released as a limited edition Super Deluxe Box Set and Deluxe Edition on November 11, 2013.

Originally released in May 1969, Tommy was famously written by Townshend to tell the story of "a deaf, dumb and blind kid." Originally a three-LP set, the Who's fourth studio album has gone on to sell more than 20 million copies.

Aside from a 2013 HD remaster of the 24-song rock masterpiece and the aforementioned demo disc, the expanded Super Deluxe edition adds two additional Tommy presentations – a 5.1 mix in Hi-Fidelity Pure Audio Blu-Ray and a disc of the band performing the complete album live. source
