Roky Erickson has experienced something of a comeback in recent years and this will continue in 2014 when he heads out on a North American tour.
Erickson will be touring with Texas psych-rock outfit the Black Angels, although a press release doesn't specify if that group will also serve as Roky's backing band. During past tours, the Black Angels have pulled double duty by playing their own set, in addition to backing Erickson. source
