Foo Fighters Document America's Sonic Highways

HBO has released a teaser to promote Dave Grohl‘s upcoming documentary series Sonic Highways (above), which the frontman describes as “a musical map of America.” The series documents the recording of the Foo Fighters' new album (due November 2014) in studios across America.

The series was shot in eight different cities: Chicago, Austin, Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, Washington DC, and New York.

Grohl also interviews and performs with local music legends in each city, with some of the collaborations set to appear on the new album including Gary Clark Jr. and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen. MORE HERE
