Veteran Jamaican singer Freddie McGregor was given an award Sunday July 20, 2014 for his “sterling contribution” to reggae music by Summerfest Production, promoters of Reggae Sumfest.
He received the award just ahead of his performance to bring the five-day music festival to a close on International Night 2 at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay, Jamaica. source
