The Americana Music Triangle
A western Kentucky city has been included as a side trip for tourists driving along the Americana Music Triangle.
Owensboro, Kentucky, had sought to join other cities on the 1,500-mile trail that tells the story of nine music genres.
The northern points of the triangle are in the Tennessee cities of Memphis and Nashville, while the southern point is in New Orleans.
Aubrey Preston and the Franklin, Tennessee-based Americana Music Association created the driving trail for international tourists. After visiting in Owensboro, Preston said the city would be added as a recommended side trip along the main tour. The cities of Bristol, Tennessee and Shreveport, Louisiana are also suggested side trips. MORE HERE

I remember how it all happened, it seems to me that the new generation is already not interested in such travels
